If that's the worst sin Josh has committed in Caspar's eyes, he'll take it. The Cylon is wrong (about the sins And the flannel) but he'll take it either way. It's nice to be able to be more outspoken and not worry if he's going to say something inappropriate and ruin everything. It's pretty hard to offend Caspar. Well, no. It's ridiculously easy to offend Caspar but JOsh knows how not to pretty easily.

"But you do know me better, so don't get your hopes up bro."

No reason to blend in? It's something they don't quite see eye to eye on, and not just because Caspar's shorter. Josh wants to be normal. Or at the very least, not stick out quite so much as he does. Being in the Nexus is great for that. When you're talking to literal robot people and gods, a kid with mental health issues doesn't stand out so much.

Joshua laughs and it's not forced at all.
